  • Full Payment: Final payment is typically due 30 days before the tour date
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other specified payment methods
  • Currency: Payments must be made in Australian Dollars unless otherwise specified

Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed when you receive written confirmation from us via email. This confirmation will include:

  • Tour details and itinerary
  • Payment information and balance due
  • Important terms and conditions

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, cancellation fees apply based on the notice period:

  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administration fee
  • 31-60 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 15-30 days before departure: 25% refund
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund

Special circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen cancellation costs.

Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to:

  • Insufficient bookings (minimum numbers not met)
  • Weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Safety concerns or government restrictions
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If we cancel your tour, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date or tour of equivalent value.

Changes to Bookings

Changes to existing bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate change requests, but cannot guarantee availability of alternative dates or services.

6. Tour Participation and Safety

Health and Fitness Requirements

Participants must:

  • Be in good physical health appropriate for the tour activities
  • Disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by our guides
  • Carry any required medications during tours
  • Inform us of dietary restrictions or allergies

Age Restrictions

Age restrictions apply to certain tours:

  • Minimum age requirements are specified for each tour
  • Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult
  • Special arrangements may be required for children or elderly participants

Conduct and Behaviour

All participants must:

  • Respect other participants, guides, and local communities
  • Follow environmental guidelines and Leave No Trace principles
  • Comply with local laws and customs
  • Not engage in behaviour that may endanger themselves or others
  • Respect wildlife and natural environments

We reserve the right to exclude participants who breach these conduct requirements without refund.

7. Liability and Insurance

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as follows:

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
  • We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control
  • We are not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Your personal safety and the safety of your belongings
  • Obtaining appropriate travel insurance
  • Following safety instructions and guidelines
  • Any loss or damage you cause to property or the environment
  • Your own travel arrangements to tour meeting points

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption
  • Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
  • Personal liability
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Adventure activities and outdoor pursuits

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions
  • Government actions, regulations, or travel restrictions
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Pandemics or health emergencies
  • Industrial disputes or strikes
  • Technical failures or cyber attacks

In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or refunds as appropriate.

Failure to comply with environmental guidelines may result in exclusion from tours without refund.

Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Consumer Rights

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have certain rights that cannot be excluded, including:

  • Right to remedies for major failures

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be interpreted in a manner that most closely achieves the intended effect.
